If you didn't make our Spring Open House, you missed a great time. Special Guest, Gene Shay, regaled us all with great stories from the world of folk music. Not only is he an absolute gem, the guy brought Dylan to Philly back in '63 for his debut concert here. Plus, Gene's interviewed all the folk greats including Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, Judy Collins and many more. We ate, drank and thoroughly enjoyed live performances by Malone and McWilliams, Mike B, and Mike Pfeiffer & Associates!

Forge Recording was hired to design and install a user-friendly control center and recording studio at the John Street Center in North Philadelphia. The Center is utilized by the City in various ways including as an after school learning center for kids. Additionally, the John Street Center is used for corporate meetings, presentations and more for the City of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Housing Authority. Mark and Larry were in charge of video and audio design, installation and integration of the center's studio, multi-purpose room and monitors for meetings that incorporate film, speeches and/or muli-media presentations. Forge also provided training to PHA staff memebers so they can operate all the equipment for future meetings and events. At Mayor Street's recent Conference for Mayors...the new recording studio and control center were put to the test - everything worked brilliantly, and sounded even better!
