Growing up singing and performing in musical theatre venues in Denver and metro DC, and later training and performing in NYC and LA, Meg Wilkinson has returned to her Philly roots of Rock and Roll. After graduating high school in Colorado, Meg spent two years working steadily in musical theatre, appearing in such musicals as Jesus Christ Superstar and The Secret Garden, before moving to NYC to continue studying classical and musical theatre. Soon thereafter, she landed the title role in a touring production of Cinderella, and spent the better part of that year performing the role across the US. Meg then returned to Philadelphia to study theatre and political science at The University of Pennsylvania. While at Penn, Meg continued to perform both at school (including leading roles in Into The Woods and City of Angels), while also pursuing a film/tv career, and earning her Screen Actor’s Guild card. While living in Los Angeles, Meg made the transition into recording and performing pop/rock music. She has released two original albums in the last two years. Meg’s electric stage presence and soulful, belting vocals breathe new life in classic rock and roll favorites. Whether performing classic favorites or Top 40 with her band,Meg’s performance is on the cutting edge of where rock and roll is headed today. Having spent the last year recording her new material, Meg is thrilled to be performing her music live in the Tri-State Area!
