Turner Adams “Note to Self”

Turner Adams is a singer/songwriter born and raised in the Philadelphia area. Inspired by the likes of Sting, Peter Gabriel, and James Taylor, he’s been playing the guitar and writing music since he was 8 years old.

Strong vocals and fingerstyle guitar are central to the architecture of his songwriting. “The most profound thing I have learned from songwriting and performing is the importance of authenticity. Real music with heart and soul isn’t about gimmicks and effects. When I let go, and get my ego out of the way, the music is much more sincere and powerful.”

“Note to Self” is a spirited journey, with depth and range. It is both lyrical and gritty, light-hearted and bluesy. The straight-forward, vintage recording style is a welcome change. It will leave you wanting more.
